This class is a continuation of first year Algebra. A review of fundamental operations, special products, factoring, and fractions is given. New fields are introduced in exponents, logarithms, trigonometry, variation, quadratic equations, binomial theorem progressions, permutations, combinations, probabilities, and statistics. This is a course in basic skills for higher mathematics and should be taken by all students of science and mathematics who plan to continue in these studies.
