Consumer Math is a course that deals with practical applications of math in everyday life.  Some area to be covered are: hourly wages, salary, commissions, net pay, checking accounts, savings accounts, charge accounts and credit cards, loans, owning an automobile, buying a house nutrition, insurance and investments.
