Interested in a food service career? This is the class for you!! Topics covered are; areas of food service, nutrition, safety and sanitation, kitchen organization, food principles, techniques and methods, meal management, foreign foods and customs, and management techniques. Activities involved in the class include discussions, labs, investigative reports, field trips, and general information gathering and adapting. Also, you will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on work experiences at several local food service establishments.
