This course is designed for students who want to be in an advanced fitness and weight lifting program.  Physical Education will teach students the fundamentals of weight training techniques and safety, benefits of lifting, circuit training approach, five base lifts, how to use several types of equipment, stretching exercises, improved self esteem and confidence, lifts to develop muscle groups, and improved muscle tone and fitness.  This class will get students in touch with physical as well as mental development.  One day a week is spent on an activity such as flag football, basketball, volleyball, etc.
