Plane Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and Chemistry are very helpful.  Physics is a fundamental course which involves the study of matter and energy and their interrelationship.  In short, physics covers all of physical science not covered in Chemistry.  This course is especially necessary for students interested in engineering, science, and medicine.  It is also very useful for those going into occupations with math, computers, and electricity,  Physics is the course to take if you want to have some understanding of how the universe around you operates.
